Fern is an 9 1/2-year-old female dog, weighing about 12 pounds, (as of March 2026) and she is blind. Her blindness contributes to her shyness, especially in new or unfamiliar settings. Fern needs to be the only dog in the home, as she requires a calm and controlled environment to feel secure. Given her special needs, Fern would thrive in a patient and loving home that can offer her the stability and attention she needs to feel comfortable and safe.
